Google Docs - 21st Century Teaching Skills

Google Docs is a free online document/ spreadsheet/ presentation/ form/ poll creator, and a PDF/Video/ and tons more viewer. It is free and you get 1GB of free upload space. You can make your documents Public on the web or private, or just share with friends. You can work together from several computers on the same doc. Students can upload or create from school and finish or print at home (or vise versa.) Common file types from Microsoft Office can be uploaded, edited, and shared.

Prezi, is the Zooming Presentation Editor. You know that thing that Microsoft wants you to buy called Power Point? Well this is the Online, Interactive, Free alternative. The free version does not allow you to make your content private, but teachers and students* using Prezi for Educational Purposes can get the Pro Version for free. So, what is Prezi? Prezi can be used to present projects, lessons, and tons more. It is all in the "cloud" and students can access from home. Here is an example from Mrs. Wenning:
